Although we had a few hot days, it has cooled down again and it is really beginning to look like autumn here. The foliage is starting to show some autumn colors. Meanwhile, the zinnias remain the stars of the garden.
This thank you card by Bebops features a female ruby-throated hummingbird. She hovers in the air while drinking nectar from the golden center of a bright red zinnia flower. A yellow zinnia blossom is nearby and a few green leaves complete the composition. The colors seem to glow against the dark background. The image is repeated inside. The text can be customized to suit your needs.
What a cheerful card Clickinchic has designed. Her Flower Power note card has blue and yellow flowers on a darker blue background. A few more flowers are scattered inside.
I really love this graceful pink water lily mug by Nature Smiles. The photograph is exquisite and it fits beautifully with the pink inside the mug. It's a great way to start your day. Fun nature and floral photography too and great gift idea.
Welcome to Bebop's Place
Beauty has been defined as "The quality that gives pleasure to the mind or senses and is associated with such properties as harmony of form or color, excellence of artistry, truthfulness, and originality." Since our responses are totally subjective, I can only speak to what moves me.
I want to share the beauty! I have created a variety of floral products for my Zazzle stores, Bebop's Place and Bebop's Weddings, using my original photographs and designs. I am also constantly amazed at the gorgeous floral products available from the rest of the Zazzle community. I am hoping others will enjoy this blog and even be moved to purchase some of these lovely items for gifts or just for the pleasure of having such beauty around.

It's the first day of autumn and it is really beautiful here. I plan to go wandering with my camera to try to capture this magical time of year. I took this photo yesterday morning and made a poster for Bebop's Place.
This postage stamp by World of Nature is really exquisite. It's a photograph of a pretty pink fuschia flower against a black background.
TitiaG, at GoodLifeDesign, said about this mousepad: "I have a very big garden with lots of flowers and fruit trees and they display wonderful colors during spring, summer, autumn and sometimes even winter. I've tried to find all their names and with most I succeeded. This one is a wild growing clematis".

It's the last day of summer. It seems to have gone by too fast. I am posting this thank you card I made for Bebop's Place. For me, it captures the essence of summer. It features a garden full of light, shadow and color. Orange and gold daylilies are set off by pale lilac and dark magenta phlox. Many shades of green frame the lovely colors.

It is sunny and clear but quite cool here. There was scattered frost in the valleys though our hilltop was spared. We will have to start bringing in our house plants today.
Meanwhile the flowers are still blooming. I took this photo last week and made a poster for Bebop's Place as a celebration of a sunny summer day in layers of color. Yellow marigolds are lowest, then come red and pink zinnias, and over them all is a brilliant blue sky with one fluffy cloud. Tiny apples hang from a tree in the distance.
I love the simple design of this note card from Doodle Daddles. It's a hand drawn doodle of three yellow wild flowers in a field of grass.
Here's a sweet lady's Petite T-Shirt by Drakarian, with nice flowers of a little succulent from South Africa.

The rudbeckia are still blooming in my garden. I celebrate them with this cheerful mug by Bebops which will brighten your day with a repeating pattern of brilliant golden yellow Black-eyed Susan blossoms.
The Japanese cherry blossom has simple beauty. The trees don't grow very big, yet they are still pleasing to look at. This mousepad by Burningwood Arts will certainly make a great gift for anyone who loves nature.
Here's a purple flower heart...In love with purple by The Magic Garden. Add your own message to this card.

I am cheerleading my dahlias this year, trying to inspire them to bloom like they had in the past 3 years. Kelgai Ann, the lovely pink and white waterlily dahlia, was so gorgeous last year and I featured her on this mug for Bebop's Place. This year, the buds are just barely starting to open and we're past the halfway mark in Septmber. Sigh.
This unusual mousepad from Pariseau's Market will brighten your home or office. It features the seldom seen Jewelweed flower over a golden abstract background/frame.
I love this whimsical mug by Customized Creations with 4 fun flowers sitting in 4 different pots. These mugs will cheer anyone up in the morning.

These are blooming right now, the queens of the garden! Brighten your day with this cheerful mug by Bebops which features a colorful design of stargazer dahlias in brilliant colors of pink, yellow, orange, gold, fuschia and maroon on a pure white background. More dahlias are scattered inside. They are called stargazers because, unlike the traditional dahlia, the petals have a pointy star shape.
This beautiful wedding invitation by Lil Leaf is perfect for any wedding. A cream background and red dahlia make this invite a winner for any bride.
This tote bag by doracruceru has an illustration of oranges and white blossoms on a light olive background. The design is drawn in a thin black outline with shades of orange and green. This fun bag is a perfect way of adding a fresh note to your wardrobe.
