Beauty has been defined as "The quality that gives pleasure to the mind or senses and is associated with such properties as harmony of form or color, excellence of artistry, truthfulness, and originality." Since our responses are totally subjective, I can only speak to what moves me.
I want to share the beauty! I have created a variety of floral products for my Zazzle stores, Bebop's Place and Bebop's Weddings, using my original photographs and designs. I am also constantly amazed at the gorgeous floral products available from the rest of the Zazzle community. I am hoping others will enjoy this blog and even be moved to purchase some of these lovely items for gifts or just for the pleasure of having such beauty around.

A new month...and it is starting out like the middle of summer. We are expected to get into the mid-90's today. It is early and still dark here. As soon as it is light, I am going out to work in the garden before it gets too hot. Have to pick cukes, beans, zucchini and tomatoes. And there is a lot of dead heading of flowers that needs to be done.

Wow, the end of August is here! The roses are fading but my sunflowers are glorious. Here is a photo I took and made into a poster for Bebop's Place. This poster will bring brightness and cheer to your wall! Three brilliantly colored sunflowers are illuminated by the sunlight streaming through the petals. The flowers display a gorgeous palette of gold, yellow, orange, red and brown. Green leaves and blue sky complete this composition of color and form.
I still do have great rose products to post...

This is just a wonderful card. Beautifully designed and with a very true sentiment expressed by Fastgear: "A rose is a beautiful thing, a moment in time can be also. The heat has returned. I got out early and watered some little lettuce seedlings and all the dahlias. They are finally beginning to bloom, quite a bit later than usual. I still have hopes that they will be spectacular.
Now to the roses...

Late summer seems to be a special time for the little garden creatures. I've been enjoying them so much! Here is a calendar I created for Bebop's Place in celebration of my little friends.

I love this mug (maybe because I'm a mum). It's the "World's Best Mum" rose mug for mums everywhere by Highton Ridley. The red rose is a traditional symbol for love, remembrance and passion. Will you give the love of your life one today?

It's early morning, the sun is just peaking through the trees and lots of blue jays are squawking out my window which brings to mind this poster I created for Bebop's Place. It features a blue jay who has landed on a porch deck surrounded by flowers. The blue, gray, white and black coloration of the bird is set off by a riot of color. There is a decorative teapot with orange and yellow nasturtiums and a purple petunia. Green leaves complete this kaleidoscope of colors.
