Good morning! Yesterday I took a little walk down memory lane as I edited this photo for Bebop's Place that I had taken of the library stacks, where I worked before I retired. This is the poster but I made a ton of other products with the image. Check out Library Stacks for more.

This delicate design goes so nicely on the binder by Woodswalker. The simple wild rose is one of my favorites.

The roses are pretty much gone from my garden now. The daylilies and phlox have become the stars of the show. I'm glad I still have lots of rose products that Zazzlers have sent to me that I can post here.

It's a cool, foggy morning. I just got in from killing slugs and wandering around taking pictures of the garden and pond in the fog. So many interesting photographic effects are possible with fog as a background. It was very beautiful out there...

I continue to be amazed at the variety of rose designs that people have sent to me.

This note card from laly_sb has such delicate colors. I love the way the hoverfly's coloring is part of the whole color composition.

Tuesday - July 13, 2010

It's early in the morning and as I sit here a concert is coming in the window. A cardinal is singing his heart out, several robins have added their melodies, the catbird is mimicking everybody and redwing blackbirds are sort of clicking. A family of ravens are whooping it up. One red squirrel is posturing for another one. Frogs are croaking at the pond. Crows are barking. It rained last night and the slugs are also out so I have to go deal with them right now.

Okay, on to a some rose products... Today I seem to have an abstract theme.
