Wow, it's the last day of June. This month really flew by. Today my white Meidilland shrub rose is the star of the garden. She is as tall as I am and much wider. The poster below portrays a composition of her white roses which has been digitally enhanced for a watercolor effect. This wonderful shrub rose produces hundreds of small ivory rosettes for most of the summer and is practically carefree.

Today is cooler and sunnier. I plan to spend a good part of the day weeding.
Although my Harison's Yellow rose is done blooming, I have created this mug to remind me of its beauty all year round.
